Souvick Mukherjee

Hi, I am Souvick Mukherjee, a student of zoology, completed M.Sc from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith. Besides all of this, wildlife and macro photography is my passion and I am passionate about that. I started clicking photos from the very beginning of my life. At 12 years age, I clicked photos with Kodak kb10. But my wildlife journey starts with the Sundarban and it was in the year 2011.  After that I visited every corner of a garden to terrine regions of the Himalaya. I started my photography with point and shoot cameras of several brands and in 2015 I bought my first DSLR camera. My photographs and write-ups were published in several magazines and scientific journals like Seavus, Science Reporter, Aranayak and more. After all photography is a medium by which one can connect dreams with reality. As I am working with several NGO’s and organizations, I have some knowledge in conservation. That is why I visited several places to click photos and try to aware local peoples through my camera and lenses. In my free time, I love to cook different types of dishes for my family, guests and my nature friendly neighbors.
